Hey, thanks for tuning in, everybody—pretty exciting that my passion for cars has allowed me to share some brands I trust with all the other do-it-yourselfers out there. Anybody looking to add a few must-haves to your garage? Maybe you just need to beef up your DIY situation a little.

Here are a few of the tools and other things I recommend for your shop.

Performance Tool Creeper Seat Rolling Tool Box

What’s better than a big, sturdy toolbox? A big, sturdy toolbox that rolls around! Save yourself a lot of trips back and forth with this roll-around tool chest.
A shop isn’t a shop without a quality socket set. Here’s a professional-grade set that offers sockets for both SAE and Metric applications.
You definitely need a good shop light. This LED work light is bright, lightweight and super-tough. Trust me, I’ve put its durability to the test.
PER 25108; PER 25219

Permatex Fast Orange Pumice Lotion Hand Cleaner

Along with some basic chemicals, you’ll need a good hand cleaner for those grimy jobs. One of my favorites is Fast Orange—one of the best hand cleaners on the market.

Everyday Essentials For Your Garage

LIS 11102

Lisle 8 Gallon Oil Lift Drain

Regular maintenance like oil changes will always be a part of what you do in your shop. Take your DIY oil change game to the next level with this oil lift drain.
A rolling shop stool is not just a practical, comfortable way to work in areas like wheel wells and bumpers—it’s also fun to just sit down and roll around!
Here’s one you might not think of: a fender cover. It prevents nicks and dents while you’re working, plus it’s made of non-slip material that’s really easy to keep clean.
AC 34700; AC 34124

ACDelco 3 1/2-Ton Jack & 3-Ton Jack Stand

A heavy-duty floor jack is a garage essential. This AC Delco is hydraulic, with a weight capacity of 3.5 tons. Because lifting thousands of pounds is something you’re going to need to do.

What’s a decent jack without jack stands? If you ever plan on working under a vehicle, you’ll need a pair of these for stability and space to work.
If you haven’t already, you’ll be getting into some big jobs that require you to lift a whole engine. This hoist from AC Delco handles up to 4000 pounds, and folds up for easy storage.
Here’s another essential for the total vehicle overhaul. This stand is heavy duty, easy to maneuver and has adjustable engine supports to fit all engines.
If you’re looking to make hoisting as quick and easy as possible, this leveler can be used with your engine hoist for any engine up to 1200 pounds.
I recommend this under-hoist stand to support engine components, but even though it really looks like one, it can’t be used as a pogo stick.

Are LEDs A Worthy Upgrade For An Older Vehicle? Jimmy Resto Ep.6
In today's video, we'll be doing a complete LED exterior conversion on the Jimmy. There are a lot of benefits to doing an upgrade like this, but there's also a lot of important things you need to remember, especially when it comes to upgrading headlights. Along with going over the process for the Jimmy, my goal is to try and help answer questions for anyone wanting to do something similar on their vehicle.
