While Americans are expected to be driving to shopping locations in high numbers this upcoming holiday weekend for Black Friday deals, they need to make sure their car is not a target for criminals.

With many Americans hitting the road for Thanksgiving weekend, the Car Care Council is urging motorists to have their vehicles inspected, adding "a 10-minute pre-trip check is small potatoes compared to a big helping of inconvenience if you break down many miles away from home."

The Car Care Council recently announced that as Americans turn back their clocks, they should be sure to have their windshield wipers, lighting & electrical inspected, in order to reduce accidents as it will be darker earlier on.
